As a partner of UNIS, MYRE participated for the first time in its annual congress held from October 13 to 15, 2021 in Deauville, France.

UNIS the federation of Real Estate unions, is the leading organization of real estate professionals. UNIS represents

  • Rental managers;
  • Real estate brokers;
  • Property managers;
  • Property appraisers;
  • And Developers.

Today, the UNIS community brings together 2,200 member companies with their 20,000 employees to pursue an ethical, professional, and committed approach towards real estate. Through its status as a professional trade union, it plays a major role with the public authorities, serving as a member of the National Council for Real Estate Transactions and Management (CNTGI).

Following on from the health crisis, when there was almost zero opportunity for interaction, and now with just a few months to go before the presidential election, the vevent proved its relevance by bringing together nearly a thousand participants and one hundred exhibiting companies, a record number in the history of the congress. Organized around the theme of "Responsibility, solidarity, and commitment, real estate at the heart of society", the industry's professionals met to discuss the future of the sector and share new ideas and innovations in response to these three major values.

During these three days, the congress welcomed such personalities as Emmanuelle Wargon, Minister of Housing, Paul Milliez, Deputy of the Normandy region, Pascal Leblanc, Deputy Mayor of Deauville, Fabrice Amedeo, navigator and former Figaro journalist for a presentation of his experience regarding resilience, as well as many other experts.

Bringing this congress to a close, the Minister of Housing took the floor to provide an update on the existing situation. She spoke of new government measures to help alleviate the current challenges.

"It is important to maintain a healthy dialogue with all stakeholders in the world of housing, real estate, and the property profession. The health crisis has proved challenging for all of us, testing our organizations and disrupting our work habits. Real estate professionals managed to be particularly adaptable [...] The latest figures reflect a favorable real estate context [...] The government's economic strategy is bearing fruit, and by the end of the year we should be back to pre-crisis levels, which is something we in the industry can be pleased about."

MYRE contributed to the much-anticipated innovation during this congress, offering the market its vision of asset management. Real estate is a sector that remains overly rigid, where innovation is essential to ensure greater flexibility and speed in decision-making. By meeting with our teams at our stand in the startup area, market players were able to learn all about the proptech solution for real estate data management. Ariel Boukobza, CSO and co-founder of MYRE, also presented the MYRE platform in an exclusive interview

"We enable our clients to manage issues related to acquisition, financing, commercialization, and management, up to the sale of the real estate asset. [...] Our clients consist of institutions, investment funds, and family offices. The platform is entirely adapted to all types of property assets. We have the capacity and processing power to manage all the property challenges encountered throughout Europe."

The emphasis on innovation was also showcased during a highlight of the congress: the UNIS Innovation Awards #TUI2021 in which MYRE participated.

"Data is a major issue for you. We developed a platform that is designed to manage financial and legal data [...] In this platform, you will find all the elements necessary with collaborative access to all those who are going to enter or consult information, thereby creating transparency and fluidity in the management of your real estate assets," explained Ariel during the presentation of the solution."

We would like to thank Emmanuelle Wargon who took the time to come and meet the industry's participants in order to better understand its present and future challenges. We were delighted to be able to discuss the issues faced by real estate asset managers and the response provided by MYRE.
